Working Together
Competition safeguarding policies pursued by any state are criticized probably more often than any other form of public intervention by the government in private affairs. Prominent economists of our times, from Friedrich Hayek to Alan Greenspan, call the world of antitrust regulations as «naive,» «unrealistic,» «ignorant» and «irrational», while Milton Friedman believes that competition laws «do far more harm than good,» and » it would be better if we got rid of it…»
Always Under Control
We discuss prices nearly every day, namely how they change in relation to our income. The Antimonopoly Committee (AMC) is the source of ultimate truth in the price battles between the consumer and the seller. Terminal discussed the situation on the fuel market with AMC First Deputy Head Rafael Kuzmin.

Oil Migraine…
If it were not for the aggravation of the situation around Iran, the markets would probably be bored. Even a Greek default would hardly raise a blip in oil quotations. The economy of Germany looks more or less in good shape, as noted in a report by the European Commission on the prospects for the development of the economies in the eurozone.

However, some journalists felt offended, saying that analysts were again only painting a bad picture.
Alas, when the fuel market is quiet, interest in its problems immediately disappears…
Anti-counterfeit Campaign
BRSM-Nafta Was Unconvincing
As Terminal has learned, BRSM-Nafta recently got involved in litigation with Avtocentr, demanding that the latter refute an allegedly false report about the quality of fuel at its filling stations. However, these efforts backfired for the company: the courts confirmed the information was correct, thus giving the media a chance to write about this precedent again…
